Eduard 1:48 Double riveting rows - 3D rivet decals

A set of three-dimensional decals that transfer double rows of raised (protruding) rivets onto the surface of a model in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor a photo-etched part, but a universal detailing accessory for restoring or emphasizing the riveting on an airframe and on other subjects as well.

Use

  • First seal the surface with gloss clear coat so that the decal adheres well.
  • Measure the strip with the row of rivets, transfer it onto the model and settle it with decal setting solution.
  • The rows can be shortened and combined to suit the layout of the particular panel.
  • Once dry, spray the top color over them and the rivets will stay visibly raised.

Who it is for

For advanced modelers who want to add or restore riveting without drilling and gluing individual plastic rivets. It can be used across subjects, on aircraft, vehicles and ships alike.

The accessory contains neither paint nor clear coat. It is a detailing decal, not a part of a particular kit.
