The photo-etched accessories Big Ed 1:48 Douglas A-4M Skyhawk mod. 1975 from the production of the Eduard brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings together photo-etched parts for the attack machine in its form from the middle of the 1970s. The year in the designation has a practical point: it distinguishes the set from the package made for an earlier state of the same aircraft.
The Skyhawk was designed by a team in the 1950s deliberately as a small and simple carrier bomber that would fit onto a carrier's elevator without folding its wing. The last single-seat version then stayed in service for decades, and machines from the second half of the 1970s differed from the older examples above all in equipment, which was added step by step while in use. They were deployed mainly from land bases in close support of infantry and in advanced training.
Test the bent components dry in place first and only then reach for the glue, because correcting a set joint costs more time than a minute of testing. Mask the pre-printed faces when spraying their surroundings. Under a flat final coat it pays to bring out the engraved lines with thinned paint, and the small metal parts will stay legible in the process.
Without a base kit you will not use the set, and it is sold separately.
