The SPACE set from Eduard combines color 3D decals on a decal backing paper and pre-painted photo-etched parts for a detailed rendition of the interior of a model of the Douglas A-4M Skyhawk attack aircraft in the configuration after the 1975 upgrade, 1:48 scale. The printed 3D elements give the instrument panel and the side consoles a three-dimensional look; the pre-painted photo-etch adds the seat belts and fine cockpit details.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a light carrier attack aircraft of the US Navy and the Marine Corps. The A-4M version was the most powerful production variant with upgraded avionics; the 1975 modification brought further changes to the cockpit equipment.
For modelers of the A-4M Skyhawk in 1:48 scale who want to improve the cockpit detail easily. The 3D decals have no adhesive layer of their own: only the backing paper is moistened, the element is lifted off with tweezers and fixed with PVA glue; do not use a decal softener, as it would damage the printed resin. The photo-etched belts are glued with cyanoacrylate glue.
The set is an accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
