The Douglas B-26K Invader steel seat belts 1:48 is a colored photo-etched set from Eduard for a faithful rendering of the belts in the cockpit of a model.

This colored photo-etched set contains the crew seat belts alone, made of steel. The steel material holds a bend and drapes naturally, so the belts look realistically thrown over the seats. The parts are pre-finished, that is with no need for painting. It is not an airplane model but a cockpit accessory in 1:48 scale, made for plastic models of the B-26K Invader bomber.
The B-26K (later the A-26A) was a rebuilt and strengthened version of the proven Douglas Invader attack bomber. It was created for use in counter-insurgency operations in South East Asia, with more powerful engines, stronger wings and extended armament under the wings.
Shape the steel belts gently with tweezers into the fold you want and attach them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The printed color comes into its own after a light matte overcoat and a gentle picking out of the buckles.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
