Responsibility details are not available.
A colored photo-etched instrument panel for the Japanese Nakajima E8N Dave observation floatplane in 1:48 scale. It is a finished cockpit accessory, not an aircraft kit. Thin etched metal with pre-printed colored dials replaces the panel from the base kit and gives the pilot's compartment a faithful look without hand painting the instruments.
The Nakajima E8N was a Japanese single-engine biplane observation and artillery spotting floatplane of the 1930s. The Allies gave it the code name Dave. It was launched from the catapults of cruisers and battleships, from where it served for reconnaissance, for correcting artillery fire and for patrolling over the sea.
Break the panel out of the fret, remove the original instrument panel of the kit and seat the new one in its place. It holds best with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue or a glue for photo-etch. Work with fine tweezers, do not bend the surface over a sharp edge and try the part for fit before fixing it.
This is a detail accessory for a cockpit, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
