Resin engine cowl flaps in the closed position for Bristol Beaufighter models in 1:48 scale from RESArm. A detail accessory, not a kit in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin (3D-printed) detail set that replaces part of the skinning of the engine nacelles on a Bristol Beaufighter model in 1:48 scale. The flaps are done in the closed position, that is the way the aircraft looks in flight or in its ordinary state on the ground. The set serves to refine the shape and the surface of the nacelles; it is not an aircraft model.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine machine of the Second World War used as a night fighter and as an attack and torpedo aircraft. The exact shape of the cowlings over the radial engines strongly affects the overall look of a model.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and clean them up. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) for bonding. Check the fit against the plastic parts dry before gluing and sand it down if needed. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
