A replacement three-blade propeller for a model of the Extra EA-300L aerobatic aircraft in 1:48 scale. An accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Extra EA-300L is a single-engine aerobatic aircraft with fixed landing gear, built for agility and for high g-loads. Machines of this family are among the most frequently seen aircraft in competition aerobatics and at air shows, so they appear in colorful and striking schemes. On a model the propeller is one of the first places the eye notices, because it stands at the front and is visible from every angle.
According to its name this is a three-blade propeller in 1:48 scale, that is a replacement part to take the place of the part from the kit. The set does not replace the kit, it completes it. The number of blades differs from machine to machine, so check against a photograph of the particular aircraft whether a three-blade propeller belongs to it. Go by the manufacturer's information.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest away carefully, so that the propeller sits squarely on the shaft. Choose the glue according to the material of the part; if it is not polystyrene, cement for plastic kits will not bond it and cyanoacrylate is needed. Before painting, wash the part, degrease it and lay down a base coat. Fit the propeller at the very end so that it does not break off during further work, and test-fit it dry before gluing.
The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
