This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the cockpit tub of a kit with more faithfully worked parts, that is, an instrument panel, side consoles, a control stick, a seat and further elements. The package is usually complemented by fine photo-etched parts.
The Convair F-102A Delta Dagger was an American single-seat supersonic interceptor with a characteristic delta wing, brought into service in the middle of the 1950s. It served in the air defense system and carried guided missiles in internal fuselage bays. The cockpit is one of the places where plastic kits tend to be simplified.
First wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing it into the fuselage, check the fit with the particular kit. We recommend spraying the cockpit with a base color first and picking out the details with a dark wash and a dry brush.
The resin set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which is not included in the package. Glue, paints and the model itself are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
