The pre-colored multi-layer photo-etched instrument panel comes painted from the factory and ready for immediate installation - it replaces the plastic part from your kit and renders the instruments, their dials and their labels faithfully. There is no need for laborious painting or dry transfers on the dials. The set is meant for models of the fighter-bomber Republic F-105D Thunderchief in 1:48 scale.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American supersonic fighter-bomber, one of the largest single-seat single-engine combat aircraft of its day. The single-seat F-105D version made its mark in the Vietnam War in strikes on ground targets and it carried a large load of ordnance both in the bomb bay and on external pylons.
Check whether the shape of the panel matches your particular kit - the dimensions may differ slightly between kits from different manufacturers and the edges sometimes have to be sanded down gently. Clean up the original plastic panel, glue the part with a small amount of cyanoacrylate and apply clear varnish carefully.
