A photo-etched set aimed at the exterior details of a plastic model of the American fighter F-15C Eagle in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that refines the exterior elements beyond what injection-molded plastic offers. It is meant for F-15C models in this scale.
Sets marked exterior concentrate on the outer surface of the airframe — typically reinforcements, grilles of air ducts and bleed openings, small covers, plates, antennas and similar fine elements. The model thus gains a more faithful and three-dimensional surface.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and use a photo-etch bending tool for bending. Glue the grilles and reinforcements with the smallest possible amount of cyanoacrylate. Degrease before painting; the fine grilles come out well after spraying and a light highlight.
The accessory comes unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
