This resin detail set holds the complete cockpit of the F-16C in the Barak form in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a kit that replaces the simplified plastic cockpit with a faithful tub, an instrument panel, side consoles and a seat.
The Barak is the Israeli form of the single-seat F-16C fighter. It is marked by changes to the avionics and the cockpit equipment matching the local operator. The cockpit is among the most closely watched parts of a finished scale model, because it is clearly visible under the glazing.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The instrument panel and the consoles come into their own once painted, with the controls and the displays picked out gently.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
