Eduard LooK 1:48 F-16C Block 42 from 2006 is a colored 3D printed instrument panel that replaces the plastic part from a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
LooK is a range from the Czech firm Eduard built around a 3D printed instrument panel supplied already colored. It is not a kit or a decal. The part is fitted in place of the plastic panel from a kit, so you have a finished and legible main cockpit panel with no painting of tiny dials and no assembling of photo-etched parts. This set is the version for the cockpit from 2006; Eduard also issues a variant for the earlier cockpit form up to 2005. The difference between the two is precisely the configuration of the instrument panel, and otherwise they have the same name, so watch the year marking when buying.
The F-16C is the single-seat version of the single-engined F-16 combat aircraft. Block 42, together with Block 40, belongs to the generation of the so-called Night Falcon, and the identifying mark of the pair is the different powerplant: Block 42 flies with the Pratt and Whitney F100 engine, while Block 40 has the General Electric F110. The cockpit changed during service as the equipment was upgraded, which is why the accessories are issued in two forms.
Replace the plastic panel part from the kit with the part from the set, and first check how much material has to be removed for the panel to fit into the cockpit tub. Bond with cyanoacrylate or with a glue for resin, not with cement for plastic. Do not spray over the colored surface, or you lose the very thing you are buying the set for, and protect it from fingerprints while handling it.
This is an accessory to a kit. The kit, glue and paints are not included.
