Eduard LööK 1:48 F-16C Block 42 till 2005 is a color 3D-printed instrument panel that replaces the plastic part from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
LööK is a range from the Czech firm Eduard built around a 3D-printed instrument panel that is supplied already colored. It is not a kit and not a decal. The part is fitted in place of the plastic panel from the kit, so you get a legible main cockpit panel without painting tiny dials and without assembling photo-etched parts. This set is the version for the earlier form of the cockpit, that is up to 2005. Eduard also issues a variant for the cockpit from 2006 on, and the two sets are otherwise named the same, so watch the year designation when buying.
The F-16C is the single-seat version of the single-engine F-16 combat aircraft. Block 42, together with Block 40, belongs to the generation known as the Night Falcon, and what sets them apart is the powerplant: Block 42 flies with the Pratt & Whitney F100 engine, Block 40 with the General Electric F110. The fittings of the cockpit changed over the course of service with upgrades, which is why accessories are issued in two forms according to period.
Replace the plastic panel part from the kit with the part from the set, and check in advance how much material has to be removed for the panel to seat in the cockpit tub. Glue with super glue or with a glue meant for resin, not with cement for plastic. Do not spray over the colored surface; you would lose the main thing, and protect it from fingerprints in handling.
This is an accessory for a kit. The kit, glue and paints are not part of this item.
