Resin detail cockpit set for the F-16C Block 50/52 (1:48): a resin replacement cockpit for the multirole fighter, for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set intended to refine the cockpit of a model of the American F-16C Fighting Falcon multirole fighter in the late Block 50/52 standard in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the simplified cockpit from a plastic kit with a faithfully cast cockpit tub, instrument panel, side stick and ejection seat. Aires cockpit sets usually also include fine photo-etch and an instrument film. The clear canopy of the F-16 lets the interior show beautifully.
The General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is one of the most widespread multirole fighters in the world. The F-16C versions are single-seat standards with advanced avionics; Blocks 50 and 52 brought more powerful engines and the ability to carry modern weapons.
First wash the parts to remove mold release residue and only then glue and paint them. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and sand the cut surfaces. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate): ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Before gluing it in, the kit usually needs a little reworking, so the set is rather for the more experienced. Sand wet and protect your airways.
This is a resin accessory, not a model or a stand-alone kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
