A resin detail set, not an aircraft model. This resin set from the Aires brand in 1:48 scale replaces the exhaust nozzle of the American General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter in the Block 52 version. It is intended for experienced modelers who want to turn the tail of their model into a faithful detail. The base kit has to be bought separately.
Block 52 is powered by the Pratt & Whitney F100 engine, whose exhaust nozzle has a different shape and petal division from the variant with the General Electric engine. The resin nozzle faithfully captures both the inner and the outer structure, the rendering of the petals and the depth that the injection-molded part from the box as a rule only suggests. The result is a realistic view into the nozzle and a convincing silhouette at the tail.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
