A resin detail set, not an aircraft model. This resin set from the Aires brand in 1:48 scale brings a complete cockpit of the F-16 fighter in the C/N Aggressor version. It replaces the simplified interior from the box with a faithful tub, instrument panel, side consoles and ejection seat. The set is intended for experienced modelers; the base kit has to be bought separately.
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter. The lightened F-16N machines served the US Navy as aggressor aircraft for air combat training, where they played the opponent. The set captures the modern cockpit with its glass instrument panel and period avionics in a fine resin rendering.
