Responsibility details are not available.
The F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat jet combat aircraft that served with a number of air forces. The F-4E version is a later variant with a gun, while the designation F-4EJ belongs to the variant produced for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The set is intended for models of both versions in 1:48 scale.
Masks for spraying the national insignia, that is, stick-on templates which on a model block out the shape of the insignia and its surroundings. The insignia then arises in paint, not as a decal. The film of a decal, which often shines on a flat surface, is thereby done away with, and a sprayed insignia can be clear coated, weathered and sanded like the rest of the finish without worry.
Stick the mask onto a dried base finish, that is, before spraying the insignia. Press the edges down carefully, mainly in the places where the shape follows a curved surface, otherwise the paint will run under. Spray in several thin coats; a thick coat tears while the mask is being removed and leaves a step. Take the mask off as soon as the paint goes tacky, not only after it has fully cured, and pull it back over itself, not straight away from the surface. With a multicolored insignia proceed in layers from the lighter color to the darker one.
A kit, paints, clear coats and decals are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
