The F-35 Lightning II is a present-day American combat aircraft serving today with a number of armed forces. Even a layman recognizes its crew by their equipment: the pilot wears a custom-fitted helmet onto whose visor flight and combat data are projected, so beside older machines a figure by an F-35 looks distinctly more modern. The figure captures a female pilot standing, that is in the pose you know from photographs taken by the machine before takeoff or after landing.
