A colored photo-etched seat belt set from the Czech maker Eduard for building the model of the F-35A Lightning II fighter in 1:48 scale. The parts of the STEEL line are pre-printed with a realistic steel effect and are self-adhesive, so they replace flat plastic belts and give the pilot's seat a faithful look. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing accessory; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is an American single-seat fifth-generation stealth multi-role fighter in the conventional takeoff and landing variant. Its modern cockpit with a large-area display leaves the interior exposed, so detailed belts show to good effect on a finished model.
Separate the belts carefully from the fret and clean up the edge as needed. The self-adhesive parts hold on their own; for a permanent joint a small drop of super glue can be added. Shaping them lightly with tweezers gives the belts a natural form.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
