The set brings the crew seat belts from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, made as pre-printed photo-etched parts on thin and flexible steel in green. It is a modeling accessory for sharpening a cockpit, not a kit of the aircraft. The steel finish brings pre-printed coloring together with the springiness of metal, so the belts look fine and drape faithfully.
They replace the simplified belts in the plastic interior of the pilot's and the rear seat. The subject is the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom, an American twin-engine multirole supersonic aircraft that served with the US Air Force and the US Navy and became one of the most widely used jets of its era.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and form the belts over the seat into a natural position. Steel holds its shape and is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The green surface can be sealed with a matte clear coat.
The accessory is supplied unapplied. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
