Responsibility details are not available.
The package offers two resin castings of ejection seats for the tandem cockpit of the naval Phantom in the F-4B version. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a part that is set into a model under construction in 1:48 scale. Special Hobby stands behind the product.
The product is meant for the Tamiya kit. That is bought separately.
The F-4B was the first Phantom brought into series service with the Navy and the Marine Corps of the United States. The crew consisted of a pilot and a weapon systems operator sitting behind him, and both had ejection seats of the British Martin-Baker design. That is exactly why the set holds two pieces: a cockpit is not filled out by one shape used twice, and both stations read more convincingly when they hold seats with correctly routed straps and release handles.
Before the build, degrease the parts in warm water, because remains of mold release agent prevent the finish from adhering. Remove the casting blocks with a cut from a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the remainder. Use cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy for the joint. Painting is usually easiest before gluing into the cockpit tub: the primer first, then a dark base for the supporting structure, a lighter pan and finally the highlighting of the straps and their fittings.
The set serves to complete a model under construction; you will not find the aircraft, paints or glue in the package.
