A resin detail set of exhaust nozzles for a model of the F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The set is meant for the F-4B/N/C/D variants and the RF-4 reconnaissance machines and serves as a more accurate replacement for the simplified nozzles from the base plastic kit. This is not an airplane model but an accessory for experienced modelers who want to raise the realism of a finished kit.
The resin castings faithfully capture the inner and outer structure of the jet engine nozzles - the fine detail of the petals and the gaps that cast plastic parts as a rule cannot manage. The result is a markedly more realistic rear end of the airframe. The set is designed for a particular plastic basis (according to the release, for Hasegawa or Academy) - check the right compatibility against the package.
Wash the parts clean of any mold release agent residue first, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Carry out the sanding and cutting of resin with your airways protected. Paint the nozzles before fitting and add the heat and metal effects.
This is an accessory set in resin, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
