The F-4 Phantom II was among the most successful combat aircraft of the Cold War. It was a large two-seat twin-engine machine that served as both a fighter and a strike aircraft, and it was famous for its heavy war load and its performance. The F-4C was derived from the naval Phantom adapted to Air Force requirements and was used, among other places, in the fighting over Vietnam. Thanks to its performance and versatility the Phantom became one of the icons of its era and served in many countries.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Paint and pick out the two-seat cockpit before closing the fuselage, and mask the clear glazing while spraying. Pay attention to the fit of the engine air intakes. Apply a primer and the colors with an airbrush, apply the decals over a gloss coat and pick out the panel lines with a wash. Add the external stores and the tanks at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
