The product is an aftermarket accessory, not an aircraft kit. It holds three-dimensionally printed elements in color for the front and rear cockpits on a decal backing. Instrument panels, side consoles and other details have a raised relief and look three-dimensional without photo-etch and demanding painting. The set is intended for models of the early F-4D Phantom II version in 1:48 scale.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic multirole fighter. The F-4D version was used by the US Air Force above all during the war in Vietnam and became one of the key types of its day.
Cut the parts out, soak them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto a degreased surface. Do not soak them for too long. Do not use decal softener or decal setting solution; their chemicals would damage the printed resin. The look can be evened out at the end with a matte varnish.
The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
