Quinta Studio 1:48 F-4G early with 3D-printed resin parts combines color 3D interior decals on decal paper with supplementary printed parts for the Phantom's cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extended variant of the set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio. Besides the color 3D interior decals on decal paper it also contains 3D-printed resin parts, which are glued into the cockpit. The combination of decals and three-dimensional parts takes the detail of the cockpit further than the decals alone. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for the model you are building.
The F-4G Phantom II Wild Weasel was a two-seat machine derived from the F-4E and intended to suppress the radars of an air defense system. A special systems operator worked in the rear cockpit. The early form, for which the set is cut, had a differently equipped instrument panel and rear cockpit from the machines of the later series.
The set is cut for the Meng kit. The decals are cut out one at a time, soaked briefly and transferred onto the plastic, best onto a smooth, degreased base sprayed with gloss varnish. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin and would ruin the element. First wash the printed parts, rid them of print support remains and test the seating dry, then glue them with super glue. Sand the printed parts with respiratory protection. Finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage up.
