A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the maker Aires in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the pitot tube (the sensor of airspeed) with a finely worked resin part. It is not a model of the aircraft but a stand-alone accessory raising the fidelity of the forward part of the machine.
The Northrop F-5E Tiger II is an American light supersonic fighter aircraft. The pitot tube was placed on the nose and it measured the airspeed from the dynamic pressure of the oncoming air.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, separate it from the casting block carefully and glue with super glue. The thin part calls for careful handling on account of its small size.
