The North American F-86D Sabre, nicknamed the Sabre Dog, was an American single-seat all-weather interceptor of the 1950s. It differed from the classic Sabre in having a radar in the nose and an armament of unguided rockets instead of cannons. It served with the US Air Force and with a number of allied countries.
