The F4F-4 Wildcat late in 1:48 scale is a plastic kit of the American carrier fighter from the Czech maker Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Czech maker Eduard captures the late version of the American Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The model comes from a modern mold with fine engraved surface detail, and the decal sheet offers several marking options for machines of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps.
The F4F-4 Wildcat was the main carrier fighter of the US Navy in the early period of the war in the Pacific. Against the earlier versions it received folding wings for easier stowage on aircraft carriers and heavier armament. Despite more modest performance against its Japanese opponents, its toughness and tactics won it a string of victories.
Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic and sand the mold seams down carefully. Apply a surfacer before painting and spray the solid-color areas with an airbrush. Mask the cabin before spraying, for clean frames around the glazing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
