A color photo-etched set from the Czech brand Eduard in the Zoom line for plastic models of the F4U-1 Corsair fighter in 1:48 scale. It is neither a model nor a complete photo-etched cockpit set, but a specialized set of small color placards and inscriptions of the kind found in a real aircraft in the cockpit and on the instrument boards. The parts are self-adhesive.
Placards are small information and warning plates that give the cockpit and the area around the seat a realistic, lived-in look. It is a fine refinement that complements the main photo-etched or plastic interior well.
The parts are very small, so work with tweezers and in good light. Separate the self-adhesive placards carefully and press them onto degreased, ideally matte-varnished surfaces. Any excess tack can be tuned with a small drop of varnish.
This is an add-on photo-etched set of placards, not a kit and not a complete interior set. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
