The lighter, yellowish component of damp growth tends to be overlooked, and yet it is what makes green on masonry believable. The shade Vegetable Origin Damp Yellow from Lifecolor is aimed at that.

Growth on a damp wall is never one color. Beside the green there is always a yellower component in it as well, whether lichen, dying parts of plants or the places where the film is drying out. The acrylic shade Vegetable Origin Damp Yellow is precisely this yellower position of damp growth.
A one-color film looks like a coat of paint and not like living growth. A convincing area arises from laying two or three close tones on top of each other, each taking up a different part of the area. First the darker and more extensive one is laid down, after it smaller islands of the lighter one, and finally the edges are finely blended, so that there are no sharp boundaries between the tones. This yellower shade usually comes as the second or third coat and brightens the places light falls on.
For builders of dioramas who work with vegetation on architecture, for modelers of ruins and overgrown structures and for railroad modelers as well. It comes out best paired with the green variant of damp growth; on its own it will serve as a light yellow-green in terrain.
Keep out of the reach of children and work in a ventilated room.
