F6F Hellcat wheel bays (PRINT) is a 3D printed resin set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for a kit of the Grumman F6F Hellcat fighter.

A 3D printed resin set from the Brassin PRINT range by the Czech maker Eduard (Obrnice near Most), intended to improve the kit of the Grumman F6F Hellcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the main landing gear wheel bays with finely worked parts carrying a delicate structure of ribs, piping and rivets. It is not an airplane model but an upgrade detail accessory.
The simplified bays from the plastic kit are replaced by faithful 3D printed wells with crisp detail that injection-molded plastic cannot capture. The result is a realistic view into the landing gear bays, which comes into its own above all on a model displayed with the gear down.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports, wash off the uncured resin residue and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, then spray thin coats with an airbrush and bring the detail out with a wash. The set will be appreciated rather by more experienced modelers.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package. This is not a complete airplane model but an accessory for another kit.
