A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, intended to refine the plastic kit of the Grumman F7F-3N Tigercat carrier-based night fighter in 1:48 scale. Finely cast barrels with faithful muzzles replace the less accurate plastic parts.
The F7F Tigercat was a twin-engine fighter with powerful armament. The F7F-3N night version carried four 20 mm cannon in the wing roots, while the nose machine guns gave way to a radar for night combat.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Attach the fine barrels carefully and only at the end of the build.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
