Colored three-dimensional interior features from Quinta for the F/A-18D in its early form, 1:48 scale, for the Hasegawa kit. The features are soaked briefly in lukewarm water and slid off the carrier paper into place.

The F/A-18D is the two-seat form of the Hornet. The long canopy reveals both cockpits one behind the other, and in 1:48 scale more is visible in them than a builder would expect: the instrument panel, the side consoles and the rear station all stay on view once the model is finished. The word early in the name refers to the early form of the machine.
Colored three-dimensional interior features, made by 3D printing according to the name. The instruments, controls and labels have three-dimensional relief and come finished in color. The features are printed on carrier decal paper and are applied the wet way: the part is cut out of the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds reliably on a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 type. Do not use decal softener or fixer, as the chemicals would damage the printed resin. The set is prepared for the kit from Hasegawa in 1:48 scale.
For builders of modern combat aircraft who want their cockpits finished in color and do not fancy painting tiny dials with a brush. The work is careful rather than demanding; you need tweezers, a sharp blade and a steady hand. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
