This product is NOT an aircraft model but an aftermarket detail set for improving the interior. It is a color, 3D-printed interior printed on decal paper in 1:48 scale, intended for the F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter kit from Hasegawa. The instrument panels, panels and consoles have raised relief and pre-printed colors, so painting them by hand falls away.
The set replaces the kit decals and photo-etched interior parts with a series of 3D relief elements with realistic colors and labels. It is applied in a similar way to decals, and the result is a faithful cockpit with a sense of depth.
Separate the parts, apply them to a clean, smooth base with the usual decal technique and fix them in place. We recommend working with plenty of water and gentle pressure so that the relief elements settle into the detail. Leave out the decal softener, however, because it would attack the printed resin of the elements.
This is an interior accessory, not a model on its own. The aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
