Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American North American FJ-2 Fury carrier jet fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a classic model of a combat aircraft intended to be glued together and painted. The exact contents of the package are not stated here; the model captures a single-seat jet machine with a swept wing.
The FJ-2 Fury was a carrier fighter of the US Navy and Marine Corps from the beginning of the 1950s. It came about as a naval derivative of a swept-wing jet aircraft, adapted for operation from carriers: it was given folding wings, an arrestor hook and strengthened nose landing gear for catapult launches and hard landings on deck. The Fury's service falls in the early era of jet carrier aviation.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, glue the joints with a thin cement for plastic and apply a primer before painting. The swept wing and the fuselage are rewarding for an airbrush and for gloss metallic surfaces; settle the decals onto a gloss varnish and finish them with a matte coat to suit the look you want. It is best to paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the box, unless stated otherwise.
