A set of painting masks for a model of the Argentine aircraft FMA IA-58A Pucara in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The FMA IA-58 Pucara is a twin-engine ground-attack aircraft of Argentine manufacture, designed for the support of ground units and for operating from short and unpaved surfaces. You will recognize it by its tall fin, the long glazed cockpit with two seats in tandem and the slender engine nacelles on the wing. The designation IA-58A belongs to the main production version.
The set brings painting masks cut for a model of this machine in 1:48 scale. With aircraft masking sets these are most often the frames of the cockpit glazing and the tires. A sister item of the same set with the suffix TFace also exists, which with masks designates the form for masking glazing from both sides.
The masks are stuck on before spraying, onto a clean, dry and degreased surface. Press the edges down properly once they are stuck, above all in the places where a mask passes over an edge; that is exactly where paint creeps under and the line is smeared. Spray in several thin coats and from the edge of the mask inward, not across the edge. Take the mask off as soon as the paint is dry to the touch, and not after several days, because a hardened finish likes to tear while being peeled. You will remove the remaining adhesive after a mask with a dampened swab.
The model, the paints and the varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
