This is a resin set of two pilot seats without seat harnesses for a model of the German fighter aircraft the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 in 1:48 scale. The set is not a standalone kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit: precisely cast seats with thin walls and a fine rendering will replace the coarser plastic parts from the box.
Resin seats have a more faithful shape and thinner edges than injection-molded plastic parts and they markedly lift the look of an open cockpit. The package holds two pieces, so one of them can also serve as a replacement if the other is damaged. The seats are supplied without seat harnesses: those can be added with photo-etched parts or with fabric seat belts separately.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them down. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without seat harnesses. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
