Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter biplane Fokker D.VII in its late form with the F suffix, in 1:48 scale from Roden. The F designation refers to the powerplant, a powerful inline BMW engine, which made the D.VII one of the best fighters of its day. The model has a fine surface, a detailed engine and a detailed cockpit.
The Fokker D.VII was among the most feared German fighters of the end of the First World War. It stood out for its handling and its rate of climb, particularly in the version with the supercharged BMW IIIa engine (the D.VIIf). Its wings were internally braced, so they did not need the extensive external wire bracing of most biplanes of the day.
It is a finely shaped kit, so cut the parts from the sprues carefully. Paint the engine and the cockpit before closing the fuselage. You apply the typical lozenge printing with the supplied decals; set them patiently with a decal softener. Suggest any bracing with fine thread and even out the surface with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
