Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of the packs of French infantry from the period of the First World War in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel. Together with the German and British equipment from the same range it makes it possible to equip trench scenes of all the main actors of the Western Front faithfully; baggage set down will give even a small vignette instant authenticity.
The French infantryman, nicknamed poilu, carried a rigid frame pack on which a blanket, shelter sections, a mess tin and other small items were piled, the result being a tall, easily recognizable silhouette that became one of the symbols of the French army. A fully loaded pack was among the heaviest parts of the equipment and soldiers set it down at every opportunity; heaps of baggage behind the line are therefore a common picture in period photographs.
Wash the castings, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The basis is darker brown tones of leather and unbleached canvas; the piled blankets can be treated in gray-blue shades matching French uniforms. A wash will join the colors and drybrushing will pick out the edges of the frame and the straps.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
