Omask landing gear bay masking plugs - Fw 190 A-2/3/4 1:48

A set of springy foam plugs from Omask intended to cover the landing gear (wheel) bays of a model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-2/A-3/A-4 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit part and not a paint but an aid for painting: the shaped plugs fill the openings of the bays exactly, so that their interior stays clean while the primer and the top coat are sprayed. The plugs are shaped for the Fw 190 A kit from Eduard.

Use

• Before painting, insert the foam plugs into the openings of the landing gear bays.
• They keep primer and paint from getting into the interior of the bays and onto their walls.
• Once the paint has dried, the plugs come out easily without damaging the surface.
• The springy foam conforms to the shape of the bay and can be used again.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to separate the outer finish cleanly from the landing gear bays and avoid laborious masking with tape. Suitable when building the Fw 190 A-2 to A-4 versions stated.
