An accessory set for a kit of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-11 and D-13 in 1:48 scale. The exact contents of the package are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Fw 190 D series, settled among modelers as the Dora, is told from the earlier machines at first glance by its lengthened nose and the longer rear end that balanced the stretched nose out. The D-11 and D-13 versions belonged among the late machines of this series and came about in only small numbers, so they appeared at the very close of the war. That is exactly why modelers reach for them: they differ from the commonly built D-9 and they are rarely to be seen in any display case.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit in 1:48 scale, not a complete model. The range of the parts and their placing is described by the manufacturer's instructions; verify from them as well which kit the parts are shaped for. Accessory parts of this kind are not of polystyrene, so they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue and with larger surfaces a two-component one.
Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder with fine paper. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the primer does not hold. In 1:48 scale the parts are small, so hold them in tweezers while sanding or leave them on the remaining material until the moment you are going to glue them. Try the seating dry before you reach for the glue.
The set is for modelers who want to build one of the late versions of the D series from a kit and are not bothered by fine-tuning the seating of a part with their own work. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
