1:48 German helmet M35/40 (Stahlhelm) (detail) is a set of 3D-printed resin German helmets for figures and dioramas in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on set of finely 3D-printed resin German Stahlhelm helmets in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of a vehicle but an item of equipment detail for figures and dioramas. The detail version has a well worked shape and rim, so that the helmet sits properly on the heads of figures in a smaller scale.
The German Stahlhelm steel helmet of the M35 pattern was introduced in 1935, and the simplified wartime M40 version had the ventilation openings pressed directly into the shell. These helmets are among the most typical features of the German soldier of the Second World War.
Before separating the parts from the print supports and sanding them, dip them in hot water so that the resin softens and does not chip; once cool it hardens again. Wash the parts, cut off the print supports with a sharp tool, glue with cyanoacrylate glue and sand with respiratory protection. In the smaller 1:48 scale work especially carefully because of the small size of the parts. Paint with ordinary modeling paints.
The set contains the resin helmet castings only. Figures, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
