This is a fine resin detail set in 1:48 scale from Quickboost. It contains precisely cast rudder pedals in the form matching the early version of German aircraft of the Second World War. The set serves as a replacement for the simplified plastic parts from the base kit and raises the accuracy of the pilot's compartment considerably.
It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for the cockpit. The small, crisply cast pedals carry detail that is usually lost on injection-molded parts. They pay off wherever the cockpit is clearly visible once assembled, or where the glazing is left open.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them carefully from the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding. Before painting, use a primer, which evens out the surface of resin and plastic.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
