An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzerbeobachtungswagen V (Ausf.A) observation vehicle in 1:48 scale. The model from the manufacturer Hobby Boss includes photo-etched parts and link-and-length tracks and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Pz.BeobWg V was the observation and command conversion of the Panther tank. Instead of full armament the vehicle carried a dummy gun, while inside the turret there was observation and signals equipment for directing artillery fire. The vehicle thus combined the mobility and protection of the Panther with the role of a mobile observation post.
The smaller 1:48 scale means fine parts and photo-etched elements; bend those with tweezers and bond them with super glue. Fit the link-and-length tracks patiently and assemble the running gear before closing up the hull. We recommend a primer, an airbrush for the camouflage and fine washes with pigments for a dusty patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
