Metallic Details 1:48 Gloster Gladiator cowling and engine is a detail set of the engine cowling and the radial engine for a model of the British fighter biplane. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the manufacturer Metallic Details holds a finely rendered engine cowling and a radial engine for a model of the British biplane Gloster Gladiator in 1:48 scale. The parts are made with modern technology (3D printing) with fine detail of the cylinders, the valve gear and the panelwork, which markedly surpasses an ordinary plastic part. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for superdetailing the powerplant.
The Gloster Gladiator was the last British production fighter biplane, committed at the beginning of the Second World War over Malta and in Scandinavia, among other places. It was powered by an air-cooled Bristol Mercury radial engine, so an exposed or partly exposed engine is a rewarding element of a model.
Clean the print supports off the parts and wash them if needed. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). It is worth painting the engine and highlighting it lightly with a wash, so that the detail stands out. Protect your airways while sanding and cutting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
