Eduard 1:48 Go 242B - mask set

This is not a kit but a set of die-cut self-adhesive masks. The masks follow the shape of the canopy frames and of the other transparent parts of a model of the German transport and assault glider Go 242B in 1:48 scale exactly and ensure a sharp, clean transition between the color of the frames and the glazing. Circular masks for the wheel rims are usually part of it as well.

Use

  • Take the mask carefully off its backing with tweezers and stick it onto the degreased glazing.
  • Press the edges down thoroughly, so that no paint runs under them.
  • Spray with an airbrush in thin coats and take the masks off once dry.
  • The die-cut shape saves time against cutting tape out by hand.
