Eduard 1:48 Gotha Go-244B TFace is a masking set in the TFace form, that is for both the outer and the inner side of the glazing on a model of the German transport aircraft in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the German transport aircraft Gotha Go 244B in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation is a distinguishing detail: the set is prepared for both the outer and the inner side of the glazing, whereas the basic version of the same type deals only with the outer side.
Degrease the glazing and let it dry. Carry the parts with tweezers and press them down all the way round, above all in the corners of the frames. Apply the paint in several thin coats, so that it does not run under the edge. With the TFace form the inner side is usually sprayed first in the interior shade and only then the outer side in the camouflage color. Lift the mask off shortly after the paint has dried, with a slanting pull away from the frame.
The Gotha Go 244 was the powered version of the Go 242 cargo glider. A pair of engines made it into a transport aircraft in its own right, which managed without a tug aircraft, but the performance stayed modest and the service limited. Its typical features are the twin tail booms and the extensively glazed pilot's cabin in the front part of the fuselage. Because the cabin is glazed over a large part, the inner side of the frames is clearly visible on a finished model.
This is a masking accessory for painting a model and is sold separately. Neither paints nor the target model are included in the package.
