Eduard mask Grumman TBF-1C Avenger 1:48 is a set of self-adhesive, precisely die-cut kabuki tape masks for cleanly painting the extensive canopy glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-cut self-adhesive masks of fine yellow kabuki tape, shaped exactly for the injection-molded kit of the Grumman TBF-1C Avenger carrier torpedo bomber in 1:48 scale. The masks follow the long, heavily divided canopy glazing and the gun turret exactly. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
The Grumman TBF Avenger was the main American carrier torpedo bomber of the Second World War. The TBF-1C version carried strengthened armament and was used in the Pacific fighting. The extensive glazed canopy with its dorsal turret makes masking one of the most time-consuming steps of the build, and this set speeds it up markedly.
Lift the mask with tweezers, lay it on degreased glazing and press the edges down carefully, above all in the corners of the frames. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush. Remove the mask shortly after the paint has dried.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
