About product

Painting masks for the Grunau Baby IIB 1:48

A set of self-adhesive masks for models of the Grunau Baby IIB glider in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a painting accessory. Besides the canopy glazing it also contains masks for suggesting the fabric-covered areas, that is the movable control surfaces and the parts of the wing that on the original had a different surface from the solid wooden structure.

Use

  • Masks for the canopy for sharp frames.
  • Templates for distinguishing the fabric-covered areas from the solid structure.
  • The paint is applied with an airbrush and the masks are taken off once it has dried.

Who the set is for

For modelers of gliders who want to suggest the difference between a wooden shell and a fabric covering faithfully.

The masks are an accessory to a model; the model, paints and glue are not included.
