A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. The set of finely cast resin replaces the engine covers of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in 1:48 scale. The resin parts refine the shape of the engine panels around the V12 Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and have faithfully rendered panel lines and fasteners. The set is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
The engine covers make up the forward section of the fuselage, and their shape and division decide the character of the Hurricane. The early Mk.I versions of the Battle of Britain period had the typical rounded cowling panels with prominent fasteners; a faithful resin rendering improves the profile of the nose and also allows an open display with the engine exposed. After painting and a fine patina the transitions between the panels look natural.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
